MOVEMENT & REAL LIFE

PLACES

RESR Places are real-world movement structures: spots, pumptracks, dirtlines, skateparks, workshops, local crews, protected places and future community infrastructure.

REAL PLACES. REAL RESPONSIBILITY.

Movement needs places that can survive time.

RESR Places are not about building empty attractions. They are about understanding real movement, existing spots, local crews, public spaces, sensitive locations, workshops and long-term responsibility.

WHAT A RESR PLACE CAN BE

Not only parks. Real movement infrastructure.

A RESR Place can start small. It can be an existing pumptrack, a dirtline, a legal skatepark, a workshop point, a protected local spot or a future community space. The important part is structure, not size.

Pumptrack

Public, accessible movement spaces with low entry barrier, high community value and strong potential for local activation.

Dirtline

Rider-built or community-shaped places that need care, respect, maintenance, rules and local trust.

Skatepark

Concrete movement spaces where BMX, skate, scooter, inline and local youth culture can connect.

Workshop Point

Places where repair, bike checks, media, mentoring, youth work and community education can happen.

PLACE SYSTEM

Every place needs a different level of visibility.

RESR should never treat all places the same. Some places can be public. Some should be shown carefully. Some need protection. Some should stay completely hidden.

01

Public

Official parks, known facilities, legal pumptracks and public places that can be shown openly.

02

Limited

Places that can be referenced but should not be pushed with exact details, maps or hype.

03

Protected

Sensitive local places where media can show mood and movement without exposing access or location.

04

Secret

Places that are not public. No exact location, no map, no tags and no careless exposure.

PLACE CONTEXT

Places need people who understand them.

Local Guides, Local Crews and trusted community members can help RESR understand what a place needs before anything is shown, proposed or developed.

PLACE MEDIA

Show potential without exposing what should stay protected.

Places media can document mood, movement, structure, need, damage, potential, workshops and community action — while hiding sensitive details when necessary.

PROTECTED SPOT

Movement visible. Location hidden.

Sensitive spots can be represented through atmosphere, detail shots and rider movement without public coordinates.

PLACE MODULES

Small modules can change how a place works.

RESR Places should not start with overbuilt masterplans. Often the strongest first step is a small structure that makes an existing place more useful, safer, cleaner or more connected.

Repair Point

Tools, bike checks, basic repair support and workshop structure for riders and young people.

Media Point

A clear place for filming, credits, content collection, story capture and field documentation.

Workshop Zone

Space for repair workshops, safety sessions, youth projects, nature responsibility and local learning.

Care Days

Community days for cleaning, maintenance, local support, nature care and visible responsibility.

PLACE RULE 01

Develop before building.

A place should be understood before it is changed. Context comes first.

PLACE RULE 02

Protection before visibility.

RESR should never destroy a place by making it too visible too fast.

PLACE RULE 03

Responsibility before expansion.

More places only make sense if community, care and governance can follow.

PLACE PROCESS

From idea to responsible structure.

01

Suggest

A place, spot, pumptrack, dirtline, skatepark or local need is suggested.

02

Check

RESR checks local context, sensitivity, possible risks, people and potential.

03

Structure

Local Guides, crews, media and possible modules are connected into a first plan.

04

Develop

If it fits, the place can grow through workshops, care days, media proof or long-term development.

BUILD REAL PLACES

A place is not just built. A place is developed.

RESR Places grow through local knowledge, community structure, spot responsibility, workshops, media proof and long-term care.
